November 2025 Updates from The Hearts Project

Greetings from Monica Moore.

As the Founder of the Hearts Project COVID-19 Memorial and President of The Hearts Project Foundation, I am pleased to announce that we recently launched our new website! In keeping with our mission to ensure that the pandemic is preserved in our collective memory through art and story, the website features the many ways we have done, and continue to do, just that.

When you find yourself longing for something to help pass the time, turn your attention to TheHeartsProject.com. There you will find what we’ve been up to, the ways our work has evolved, and how you can get involved. Enjoy exploring the site and be sure to connect with us if you want to make certain that the COVID-19 pandemic is not forgotten. Tell us your story. Book an exhibit. Cut a heart.

We are very grateful for the constant and professional guidance, care, and service we have received from Blue Zoo Creative while making our dynamic site a reality. To go behind the scenes to see what it takes to create and design a brand identity, check out Blue Zoo’s recent BLOG documenting our collaboration and featuring their expertise.

We look forward to hearing from you!

Sincerely,
Monica Moore

COVID-19 Memorial at NWACC

Hearts

The first three frames of the the Hearts Project COVID-19 Memorial are now on display at NWACC, offering visitors a chance to experience the artwork in person and reflect on the lives and stories represented in each hand-cut heart. This installation marks a meaningful moment for the project as it continues to travel and connect with new communities.

Explore the Life Styles Collection

The artists at Life Styles, Inc.’s Blair Center in Springdale, Arkansas, created vibrant works that reflect their creativity, resilience, and individuality. Each piece adds a unique voice to The Hearts Project, offering a glimpse into the artists’ experiences during the pandemic. We invite you to spend time exploring this special collection.

About The Hearts Project

The Hearts Project and Foundation honors the 13,068 lives lost to COVID-19 in Arkansas through community-driven art that preserves memory, fosters healing, and raises public health awareness. By partnering with schools, nonprofits, and local organizations, we create exhibits that remember those we’ve lost, uplift the living, and inspire future generations to never forget.

Please explore our website for the COVID-19 Memorial, Collections, Events, and Exhibit dates.
